Live So Well (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates livesowell.org. This policy explains how information is handled when you visit the site, contact us, or sign up for emails and resources.

Information you provide

When you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, message, and any optional email signup choice you submit. We use that information to answer your inquiry and, only if you choose to subscribe, to send Live So Well emails. Please avoid including sensitive medical information in a contact message.

When you sign up for the email list, RISE UP, Shifting Sugars, or a downloadable resource, we collect the information requested by that form, such as your name and email address. We use it to deliver the requested resource or messages and to manage your subscription. Some forms may send a confirmation email before a subscription begins. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email.

Information collected when you visit

Our hosting provider and website software may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, and access or error logs to deliver the site, troubleshoot problems, and protect it from abuse. Cookies or similar browser storage may support site functions, forms, caching, and administrator login. You can manage cookies in your browser, although blocking them may affect some features.

Service providers and external links

DreamHost hosts the website and may process site traffic and server logs. WPForms handles the contact form and sends its contents as an email notification; our current WPForms Lite setup does not retain form entries in the WordPress dashboard. Kit (formerly ConvertKit) processes email signup information and helps us send subscription messages and resources. These providers process information to support the services we use.

The site may link to or display content from other websites. When you follow an external link or interact with external content, that provider’s privacy practices apply.

How long we keep information

We keep contact correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond and maintain our records. We keep subscriber information while you remain subscribed, and may retain limited records afterward when needed to honor an unsubscribe request, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect the site. Hosting logs and backups are retained according to our provider settings and operational needs.

Your choices and requests

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in an email. You may also ask us about the personal information we hold, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern through the contact page. We will respond in accordance with applicable law; some information may need to be retained for legal or security reasons.

Security and changes

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no website or transmission method is completely secure. We may update this policy when our site or services change. The effective date above indicates the latest version.
